Vegetation changes in riparian revegetation of waterlogged regulating ponds

چکیده

人工的に創出された公園の湛水型調整池に,修景的,生態的機能を付加する目的で水辺緑化を行った事例を対象に,15年経過した時点で植物の生育状況の調査を行った。施工に際しては貧栄養である砂質土を用い,それぞれ湿生植物,抽水植物の生育を意図した湿生部,抽水部を水辺域に創出し,比較的草高が低い植物種を中心に植栽を行った。周囲はシバであり,定期的な管理が行われたが,水辺域において植生の管理作業は行われていない。植栽種は概ね活着し,群落を形成した。その後,種子による生育範囲の拡大が見られた種,植栽した場所に概ね留まった種など,種による差が見られたものの,比較的安定した水辺植生の群落を形成した。一方,外部からの侵入種も見られ,ヒシによる水面の優占,1箇所でヨシの優占が見られたものの,景観を著しく害することはなく,水生生物の生息空間として機能するなど,植栽した植物を中心に安定した水辺エコトーンを形成した。目的とする景観を明確にしてデザインし,貧栄養条件下において積極的な植栽を行うことで,管理労力を抑えつつ良好な水辺環境を維持することができた事例といえる。
